Notice to Clients Regarding Good Faith Estimates

Under federal law (No Surprises Act), you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining the expected cost of your mental health services if you are not using insurance or are paying out of pocket.

Your Rights

You can request a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service or at any time during your care. Your Good Faith Estimate will outline the expected costs of your therapy sessions or related services. If you receive a bill that is $400 or more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may dispute the charge.

What to Expect

Estimates are based on the information available at the time they are created. The actual cost of services may change depending on your treatment needs (such as frequency or type of sessions). If your treatment plan changes, you may request an updated estimate.
